Adding Content to your Apple Devices
Wednesday, March 26
Professor Ed Hom will share tips for working with digital content
on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. This session will cover working
with Youtube, Zinio, Nassau Digital Doorway, Freegal and other
content on your device. There will be no personal hands-on instruction,
but feel free to bring your devices with you. Registration begins

The Red Fox on Long Island
Monday, March 31

Long Island is described as one of the most busy and most crowded
urban and suburban areas of the country. Yet, there is surprising
diversity of wildlife and wildlife habitat. The red fox has declined
from much of Long Island but is making a comeback locally, especially
on the North Shore. Join Frank Vincenti of the Wild Dog Foundation
and learn about the ecology and behavior of the fox and how to coexist
with them locally. Registration begins February 28.

Make your own baby food with Sara Fins, Certified Holistic Health
Coach. The workshop will cover basics for starting solids, which foods
are good first foods for baby, how to prepare and store baby food,

Learn what causes this disease and what you can do to prevent it!
Topics to be discussed include: What is diabetes?, complications of
diabetes, current treatment modalities, dietary management, and lifestyle
changes. Presented by Kerri Moritz, RD, CDE, Registered Dietitian
and Certified Diabetes Educator from North Shore LIJ-Plainview Hospital.

for your Android device. Find out what apps are and where
to get them, learn which are the best and most reliable, and learn
how to register for free downloadable audiobooks and e-books through

Join instructor Jacqui Palatnik for three sessions for beginners
or those looking to refresh their skills. Registration begins March

Feeley will discuss many topics related to Palliative Care including:
what palliative care is, how a palliative care team works, goals for

Penn Hongthong is returning to demonstrate Thai cooking. She will
make Lemongrass Soup with Shrimp, Red Curry Chicken, Flat Noodles
with Peanuts and Marinated Tofu (Pad Thai). There will be a tasting
