The Children's Room of the Oyster Bay - East Norwich Public Library is dedicated to serving young people from infancy to 5th grade, as well as parents, caregivers, and teachers. We make every effort to satisfy the educational and entertainment needs of the children of our community by providing reference and reader's advisory services, books, videos, musical recordings, computer programs, and toys. In addition, an Online Public Access Catalog, a CD-ROM computer with a printer, and Internet stations are available for children's use.

Nature Nick at the Library!
Kids and adults "went wild" at the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library on Monday, April 1. Nature Nick, of Animal Adventures, brought many exotic animals for everyone to touch and learn about. Some of the favorites were a Capuchin monkey who loves Fruit Loops, a kangaroo who demonstrated how these animals love their pouches and a Burmese python, which required five children to hold him. Brothers Declan and Liam Trainor were happy to assist Nick with handling some of his animals. |

Babies will play and explore in tunnels, ball pits and kid-sized equipment. Toddlers will play with costumes, musical instruments, props, parachutes, and puppets. Registration begins May 16.
Father’s Day Cupcakes (3-5 yrs with adult)

Make a candy, hot dog and hamburger cupcake. Everyone goes home with 3 cupcakes in a box. Registration begins May 20.
Father’s Day Spice Rubs (6 yrs+)

Make one spice rub for seafood, one for beef and one for poultry to take home in a decroated box. Registration begins May 20.
